Position Summary:
Responsible for preparing drawings and other documents using project approved drafting systems
HSE Management
Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Team. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Design:
Prepare drawings and other documents using standard packages, applying discipline standards to the agreed schedule.
Work to applicable regulations and codes.
Use and maintain software libraries
Be resourceful to use on-line help
Manage design data to BOMs etc
Work within document control and revision standards
Relationships:
Apply good interpersonal skills, liaising with members of own discipline and other disciplines
Work as a team member
Commercial Management
Completes tasks within assigned manhour budgets.
Time Management
Completes tasks to the agreed schedule.
Quality Management
Responsible for working to discipline and client standards.
Complete tasks with minimal rework, by self checking assigned tasks.
Requirements:
CAD Diploma or equivalent
2 or more years’ experience in the Oil & Gas, chemicals, petrochemical facilities design environment.
Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Word, Excel and Access packages
Work is performed in accordance with technical guidelines and some supervision.
Prepared to undertake and apply training in technical areas and in use of systems
