QA/QC Manager – Construction (For QATAR)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
         Management of the inspection and testing teams to verify that contract requirements are being met in terms of quality and relevant documentation.
         Monitor the implementation of the management system and its effectiveness through document reconciliation and other appropriate means.
         Ensure implementation of the site quality control plan.
         Monitor and define quality problem areas and propose corrective actions to the Project Management Team.
         Supervise the QC department team.(Engineer and inspectors)
KEY REQUIREMENTS 
         Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Internationally recognized university or Institute.
         Minimum of 8-10 years post -qualification experience in the QA and QC field.
         Experience in Marine concrete structures with utilities.
         Certified Auditor under ISO 9001 and fully versed with QMS.
         Strong knowledge and awareness of other project disciplines.
         High level technical knowledge and understanding of execution methodology.
         Knowledge of Codes and Standards, particularly related to Concrete.
         Advanced computer literacy in commonly used software applications.
         Excellent command of English language (both orally and in writing).
         Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills in multinational environment.
         Overseas experience in the Gulf region is considered an added advantage.
